CHED CoScho Scholarship 2026 – 2027 (Apply Now)
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is now accepting applications for the Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoScho) for Academic Year 2026-2027.

What is the CHED CoScho Scholarship?
The Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoScho) is a government-funded scholarship program under Republic Act No. 11524 or the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act.
The program aims to raise social equity among coconut farmers and alleviate poverty through quality education, while also improving agricultural productivity and modernization in the coconut industry.

Who can apply?
To be eligible for the CHED CoScho Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a Filipino citizen
- Must be a duly registered coconut farmer in the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) or a dependent of one
- Must be a graduating high school student or high school graduate with a GWA of 80% or its equivalent, or a college student with a GWA of 80% in the previous semester
- Must pass the entry-level requirements of identified State Universities and Colleges (SUCs)
- Must not be a recipient of any other government-funded financial assistance program
- Combined annual gross income of parents must not exceed P300,000
Note: Only one family member is allowed to apply for the scholarship.

The scholarship covers undergraduate students enrolled in the following programs:
- Agriculture
- Agricultural Engineering
- Agribusiness Management
- Agricultural Economics
- Other courses identified by the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA)

Return Service Requirement
Scholars are required to render one (1) year of return service per year of scholarship in the Philippines within two (2) years after graduation, prioritizing:
- Government agencies directly working with the coconut industry
- Other government agencies
- Private entities related to the Philippine Coconut Industry

Documentary Requirements
Applicants must prepare and submit the following documents:
- Birth Certificate issued by the Local Civil Registry or PSA
- Academic records:
- For Senior High School students: Certified copy of grades for Grade 11 and first semester of Grade 12
- For Senior High School graduates: Form 138
- For applicants with college units: Certified Copy of Grades for the latest semester attended
- PCA Certification issued by the PCA Regional Office confirming NCFRS registration
- Certificate of Good Moral Character from the last school attended
- Any one (1) of the following proof of income documents:
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
- Certificate of Tax Exemption from BIR
- Certificate of No Income from BIR
- Certificate of Indigency from the Barangay
- Certificate or Case Study from DSWD
- Notice of Admission from the Higher Education Institution
- Proof of membership in a special group (if applicable)
- Original Barangay Certification that parents, guardians, and siblings have never attended college or university (if applicable)
