PHINMA Scholarship 2026 to 2027 Deadline Extended
The PHINMA Scholarship program is now open to apply for all eligible college students in the Philippines for the school year 2026-2027.
What is Phinma Scholarship
Phinma Scholarship is a program offered by all colleges administered by the Phinma Education. Phinma Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to promote education and improve the quality of life in the Philippines. The Phinma scholarship program is funded by the PHINMA Foundation.
Since 2004, Phinma Education has provided education to more than 120,000 students in the Philippines and Indonesia. With passing rate of 75% for First-time board exam takers, and 122 board exam topnotchers in the Philippines, this has emerged as one of the premier educational institution.

Who can apply for this Scholarship
This scholarship is open to apply for all graduating Grade 12 students from any public or private high school and currently enrolled PHINMA AU 1st, 2nd or 3rd year students.
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum GWA of 85 for incoming freshmen (Grade 12 Students)
- Minimum GWA of 2.0 (no grade lower than 2.25) for continuing PHINMA AU students
- Must be active in school or community organizations
- Must pass the qualifying exam and panel interview

Documentary Requirements
- Copy of Grades
- Grade 12 Most Recent Report Card (Incoming Freshmen)
- Certificate of Grades – 1st or 2nd Semester SY 2025-2026 (Continuing PHINMA AU students)
- Recommendation Letter
- From an adviser of a school or community organization. Include your position, notable contributions, adviser’s name, designation, and contact number. Address the letter to PHINMA AU.
- List of Achievements/Awards
- From school or community involvement.
- Application Essay
- Handwritten essay (max 500 words):
- “The Moment I Became More Than a Student: My Defining Leadership Experience “
- Submit in JPEG format.
- Application Video
- Discuss the advocacies you support.
- Maximum 2 minutes, submit in MP4 format.

I am writing to express my interest in applying for the PHINMA Scholarship Program. I am a hardworking and determined student who wants to continue my studies and achieve my dreams for my family.
However, due to financial challenges, it is difficult for my parents to support both my tuition and my Ate’s tuition at the same time. I did not want to add more burden to them. Receiving this scholarship would greatly help me continue my studies without placing too much burden on my parents. If I become a full scholar, at least yung tuition ko hindi na nila poproblemahin. Kay Ate na lang sila magfo-focus.
For me, this scholarship is not just about free tuition. It is about giving my parents peace of mind. It is about proving na kahit galing kami sa simpleng buhay, kaya naming mangarap. I am committed to maintaining good grades and using this opportunity to improve my future. Hindi ko sasayangin yung chance na to. Gagawin ko lahat para makatulong sa magulang ko at para makabawi sa kanila balang araw. Kahit wala ng allowance, okay na ako basta makapag-aral ako ng libre.
