DAR Scholarship 2026 | Now Accepting Applicants


The DAR Scholarship Program 2026 is offered by the Department of Agrarian Reform to support the dependents of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries (ARBs). This program provides financial assistance to students who want to pursue four-year degree courses in agriculture or agriculture-related programs at recognized State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

Interested students must submit their application before March 18, 2026 (5:00 PM).

Overview of the DAR Scholarship Program

The scholarship, also known as DSP-DARB (DAR Scholarship Program for Dependents of Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries), aims to help students complete their college education without financial difficulties.

Through this program, qualified students can enroll in agriculture-related degree programs and gain the skills needed to contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.

Scholarship Benefits

Students selected for the scholarships will receive financial assistance such as:

  • Monthly stipend: ₱3,000
  • Book allowance: ₱2,000 per semester
  • Transportation allowance: ₱500 per month
  • Lodging allowance: ₱500 per month
  • Graduation fee support: up to ₱5,000
  • Thesis allowance: ₱10,000 (if required)
  • Summer allowance: ₱5,000 (if included in the curriculum)

These benefits help cover major educational expenses during the college program.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a dependent of an Agrarian Reform Beneficiary (ARB) with a family income not exceeding ₱100,000 annually
  • Must be a Senior High School graduate
  • Must have a minimum average grade of 83%
  • Must have passed the entrance exam of a State University or College
  • Must be in good health and good moral character
  • Must not have criminal or administrative cases
  • Must not receive other government scholarships

Priority of Applicants

Scholarship selection will prioritize applicants based on their relationship to the Agrarian Reform Beneficiary:

  1. Son or Daughter
  2. Grandchild
  3. Nephew or Niece
  4. Other relatives or guardians

Responsibilities of DAR Scholars

Students selected as scholars must:

  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 each semester
  • Pass all subjects
  • Complete the degree within the required period
  • Follow university regulations
  • Submit semester grades to DAR
  • Provide Transcript of Records and Diploma after graduation
  • Serve the government for one year after graduation

Applicants must submit the following documents:

  • Certification from DAR confirming ARB dependency
  • Completed application form
  • Birth certificate
  • Health certificate
  • Barangay clearance
  • Certified copy of Form 137 (High School report card)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Income Tax Return (ITR) of parents
  • Statement of support from parents/guardian
  • Certificate of SUC entrance exam result
  • Certificate of enrollment (if already enrolled)

How to Apply for DAR Scholarship?

Follow these steps to apply for the scholarship:

Step 1: Download and Print the DAR Scholarship Application Form. Fill it out completely and clearly.

Step 2: Prepare Documents – Gather all required certificates (Birth Certificate, Grades, ITR, etc.).

Step 3: Submit OFFLINE – Bring your printed form and all documents to the DAR Bohol Provincial Office in Tagbilaran City.

Step 4: Wait for Evaluation – DAR will review your application and contact successful candidates.
