PHINMA National Scholarship 2026-2027 Now Open for Application


The PHINMA Foundation is now accepting applications for the PHINMA National Scholarship (PNS) Program for Academic Year 2026-2027.

What is the PHINMA National Scholarship (PNS)?

The PHINMA National Scholarship (PNS) is a transformative scholarship program that provides financial assistance, mentorship, and leadership development to deserving Filipino students. Since its establishment, the program has been helping scholars not only in their academics but also in discovering their purpose and uplifting their communities.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the PHINMA National Scholarship 2026-2027, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen
  • Must be enrolled for AY 2026-2027 in one of the accepted universities and programs
  • Must have a General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 80.00 with no failing grades in the previous school year
  • From a low-income family with a yearly gross household income below ₱300,000
  • Shows leadership potential and interest in nation-building
  • No immediate family member in the PNS Program or PNS Alumni Association

Accepted Schools and Programs

The scholarship is open to students enrolled in the following universities and programs:

  • Philippine Normal University (PNU) Manila – Incoming first year, General Education students
  • Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Sta. Mesa – Incoming second year, BS in Accountancy
  • PHINMA University of Pangasinan (UPANG) – Incoming first year Education OR incoming second year Civil Engineering
  • Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) Manila – Incoming second year, BS in Civil, Electronic, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) – Incoming second year, BS in Civil, Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering

A PNS Scholar may receive the following benefits:

  • Monthly allowance
  • Annual book allowance
  • Annual uniform allowance
  • Professional development allowance
  • Graduation fee assistance
  • Financial assistance for board exam review
  • Intentional Leadership Development Program
  • Leadership camps, educational tours, and personal development workshops
  • Mentorship program
  • Latin honors incentives up to PHP 20,000
  • Board passer and placer incentives up to PHP 20,000

Documentary Requirements

Applicants must prepare the following documents:

  • Clear copy of Registration or Enrollment Form
  • Official record of latest academic performance
  • For first year applicants: Clear copy of SHS Transcript of Records or Grades 11 and 12 report cards
  • For second year applicants: True Copy of Grades from first year in college
  • Proof of Income (Income Tax Return, pay slips, barangay certification, or utility bills)
  • At least two (2) completed PNS Recommendation Forms in separate sealed envelopes

How to Apply for the PHINMA National Scholarship

Applicants must submit printed copies of all required documents in a long brown envelope to their university’s OSA/OSFA/CSDL office on or before July 15, 2026.

Write the following at the back of the envelope:

  • Last Name, First Name
  • University and Course
  • Phone Number
  • University Email Address

Deadline of Application

The deadline for submission is on July 15, 2026.
