While they do their best, the cost of college education is a heavy financial burden for us, and I do not want their hard work to be wasted or compromise my studies due to lack of funds.

This is why I need the DCWD Scholarship. This aid will greatly ease our financial struggles, allowing me to focus fully on my classes, projects, and learning without worrying about school expenses.

I believe I deserve this because I am dedicated, responsible, and determined to succeed. I have always strived for excellence in my studies, and I promise to maintain good grades. My goal is to finish my degree, become a professional, and eventually help my family and give back to the community, just as DCWD helps students like me. Thank you for this opportunity.

  15. Dear Sir/Ma’am,

I am applying for your scholarship program as a BS Psychology student.

Gusto ko po talaga na makapag-apply nito na scholarship kasi walang wala din po kami ngayon. My mother is the only one sending me to school. Every day I see how hard she works just to pay for my tuition, and it hurts me knowing I am adding to her burden.

If I am given this chance, I will make sure it is not wasted. I will study harder, focus more on my classes, and do my best to maintain my grades. This scholarship will help ease my mother’s struggles and give me more reason to push myself in my studies. I chose Psychology because I want to understand people and help those who are going through a hard time, just like how I hope to be helped now.

Sana po isa ako sa matanggap. I will not waste this opportunity, and I will do everything I can to make my family and your organization proud.

Thank you for considering my application.
