The Technological Institute of the Philippines (T.I.P.) is now accepting applications for the Achieving Success through Constructivist Education and Next-Generation Development (ASCEND) Scholarship for qualified incoming college freshmen.

This scholarship program supports students who plan to pursue engineering degrees at T.I.P. Quezon City or T.I.P. Manila.

Interested applicants must submit their application on or before May 8, 2026.

TIP ASCEND Scholarship 2026

The ASCEND Scholarship is designed to help academically outstanding students continue their college education in engineering programs. The scholarship provides full financial support and additional allowances to help scholars focus on their studies.

The program is open to incoming college freshmen who meet the academic and course requirements.

Who Can Apply?

The TIP ASCEND Scholarship is open to:

• Incoming College Freshmen
• Senior High School graduates
• Students planning to enroll in engineering programs at T.I.P.

Applicants from the STEM academic track are preferred.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Preferably from the Senior High School STEM track
• Must be a Senior High School graduate with:
  • With High Honors or With Highest Honors, or
  • A General Weighted Average (GWA) of at least 90%
• Must have no grade lower than 85% in any subject
• Must enroll in an approved engineering program at T.I.P.

Meeting these requirements will qualify the applicant for evaluation and examination.

List of Eligible Engineering Programs

Applicants must enroll in any of the following programs offered at T.I.P. Quezon City or T.I.P. Manila:

• Civil Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Environmental and Sanitary Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

Only students enrolled in these programs are eligible for the scholarship.

Scholarship Benefits

Qualified ASCEND scholars will receive the following benefits:

• Full tuition and school fees coverage
• Monthly living allowance
• Book allowance per semester
• Laptop for use during the scholarship period
