CHED Merit Scholarship 2026-2027 Results – 2,223 Scholars to be Announced on September 14
The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) will release the names of 2,223 qualified scholars under the CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) for Academic Year 2026-2027 on Monday, September 14, 2026.

What is the CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP)?
The CHED Merit Scholarship Program (CMSP) is a competitive scholarship program that provides financial assistance to academically deserving incoming or current first-year college students enrolled in CHED-identified priority programs.
Under the program, scholars receive the following benefits:
- Assistance for tuition and other school fees
- Stipend
- Book and connectivity allowance
Priority Programs for AY 2026-2027
For Academic Year 2026-2027, priority was given to the following four undergraduate programs:
- Educational Psychology (BS Psychology and AB Psychology)
- Physical Therapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech-Language Pathology
According to CHED and the Department of Education (DepEd), these four fields were prioritized to help address the shortage of qualified professionals needed to support inclusive education and other priority services, in line with the implementation of Republic Act No. 11650 or the Inclusive Education Act.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the CHED Merit Scholarship Program, applicants were required to meet the following:
- Must have a general average of at least 93%
- Combined annual family income must not exceed P500,000
- Must be enrolled in a priority program at a recognized higher education institution
When Will the Results Be Released?
CHED will announce the list of 2,223 qualified CMSP scholars on Monday, September 14, 2026.
