Scholarship Benefits
Qualified AHME scholars will receive the following benefits:
- Monthly financial grant of ₱40,000
- Coverage for tuition and school fees
- Support for books and academic materials
- Allowance for living expenses and transportation
These benefits will continue as long as the scholar maintains the scholarship requirements.

Who are Eligible to Apply?
Incoming freshmen enrolled in a four (4) or five (5) year undergraduate (Bachelor’s) program. Belong to an underprivileged, disadvantaged, marginalized, poor, or low-income sector
Including any of the following:
- Combined annual income of parents or guardian does not exceed ₱400,000
- Orphan
- Child of a solo parent
- Person with disability (PWD) or child of a PWD
- Member of an Indigenous People (IP) group or child of an IP parent
- Has a parent who is a senior citizen
- Internally Displaced Person (IDP)
What are the Qualifications?
- Must be a BARMM resident
- Must be enrolled in BARMM priority programs
- Senior High School or Alternative Learning System (ALS) graduate
- Not a recipient of any other scholarship, grant, or financial subsidy from government or private sector
Documentary Requirements
Citizenship Documents
Important: Convert all documents to PDF except 2×2 photo (JPG/PNG only)
- PSA Birth Certificate (Original Copy)
- 2×2 ID Picture with nametag (white background)
- Certificate of Residency from Barangay
- Academic Documents
Submit at least one:
- Form 138 (Senior High School graduates)
- ALS Certificate (for ALS passers)
Financial Documents
Submit at least one:
- Latest Income Tax Return (ITR)
- Certificate of Tax Exemption with Affidavit of Low Income
- Certificate of Indigency
- Proof of Income / Contract (for OFW or seafarer parents)
- For Underprivileged / Special Groups
Submit at least one:
- Single Parent ID
- Indigenous People (IP) Certification
- PWD ID
- Senior Citizen ID of parent/guardian
- Certificate of orphan / death of parents
- Certification of Internally Displaced Person (IDP)
- For Combatants / Conflict-Affected Families
Submit at least one:
- Certification from MILF/MNLF (combatant or child)
- Certification for orphan / surviving spouse due to conflict
