GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship 2026 – P65,000 per year
The GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for aspiring educators who want to champion STEM in their schools and communities, with a deadline on September 30, 2026.

What is the GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship?
The GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship is a scholarship program that supports pre-service teachers currently taking Education courses focused on STEM-related fields and tech-voc training education.
To date, the program has produced 386 graduates and currently supports 107 active scholars.
Who can apply?
To be eligible for the GBF TeachSTEM College Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a 1st or 2nd year student taking a Bachelor’s degree in Education with specialization in STEM-related fields or tech-voc training education
- Must be enrolled in a college or university with LET performance above 65%
- Must have a minimum GWA of 85% or its equivalent from the previous year, with no failed, dropped, or incomplete grades
- Must be in need of financial support to complete studies
- Must be a resident of Region 8, Region 9, Region 12, Region 13, or BARMM
- Must be willing to teach in a public school in their community after graduation
- Must be of good moral standing with no existing disciplinary case
- Must be active in extracurricular or community activities
What are the scholarship benefits
Scholars shall receive the following benefits until graduation, subject to compliance with scholarship retention requirements every semester:
Financial Grant (sent directly to scholar’s bank account)
- State University: P45,000 per year
- Private University: P65,000 per year
Scholar Development Programs
- Access to capacity-building programs (leadership development, upskilling, subject content mastery)
- Support from a community of educators
Documentary Requirements
For Incoming College Students
- Certified True Copy of Grades – Grade 12 Report Card (1st term only if 2nd term is not yet available)
- Certificate of Good Moral Character (AY 2025-2026)
- Notice of Admission or Proof of University Application for AY 2026-2027
For Continuing College Students (2nd Year and Above)
- Certified True Copy of Grades – 1st Term AY 2025-2026 (signed or certified portal-generated grades are accepted)
- Registration Form – 2nd/3rd Term AY 2025-2026
- Certificate of Good Moral Character (AY 2025-2026)
Proof of Annual Household Income – any of the following:
- Recently filed 2025 Annual Income Tax Return (ITR): Form 2303 (employed) or Form 1701 (self-employed)
- Certificate of Employment with Salary (dated 2026) for the parent contributing to household income
- Employment Contract with Salary (for OFW parents)
- Screenshot of January-March 2026 income (for self-employed individuals in ride-hailing services like Grab or Lalamove)
- Proof of Pension (if family income depends on a senior parent’s pension)
- BIR Tax Exemption Certificate (if parents have no regular source of income and are exempt from filing taxes – to be submitted later upon successful application)
