The “7-Day Confirmation” Rule

Most applicants get disqualified because they stop after submitting the form. Listen closely: After you upload your documents, you must log back into the SM Scholarship Portal within seven (7) days to click the “Confirm” button. If you fail to do this, the system will automatically delete your application.

Can Private School Students Apply? (The Voucher Gap)

While it is true that private school students can apply, there is important ‘fine print’ regarding eligibility that is often overlooked.

1. You are a DepEd Voucher recipient.
2. You completed Grade 10 in a Public High School. If you were in a private school for both Junior and Senior High, you are generally not eligible unless you meet very specific financial indigency criteria.
