Cotabato Students: 2026 Provincial Scholarship is Now Accepting Applications
Scholarship Status: OPEN (Applications accepted until March 31, 2026)
The Provincial Government of Cotabato has officially announced the opening of applications for the college scholarship program for AY 2026-2027. The program is under the leadership of Emmylou Taliño-Mendoza, Provincial Governor of Cotabato.

Provincial Scholarship 2026
The Provincial Scholarship Program is open for college students who are currently enrolled or planning to enroll for Academic Year 2026-2027 in any Higher Education Institution within the Province of Cotabato. This scholarship aims to assist deserving and qualified students in pursuing their college education within the province.
Documentary Requirements
Applicants must submit the following documents. All requirements must be complete before proceeding with the application:
- Letter of Application addressed to: Hon. Emmylou “Lala” J. Taliño-Mendoza, MNSA, Provincial Governor
- Latest Grades / Report Card (Certified true copy from the school)
- Certificate of Indigency (Issued by the Barangay or appropriate local authority)
Note: Incomplete documents may lead to disqualification.
Who can apply?
The scholarship program is open to:
- Incoming First Year College students
- Second Year College students
- Third Year College students
- Students enrolled or will be enrolling in any Higher Education Institution within the Province of Cotabato
Applicants must ensure that they meet all qualifications before submitting their application.

What is the Submission Process
Applicants may submit their requirements through any of the following modes:

- Submission through the SK Chairperson of the applicant’s barangay or SKMF
- Personal submission at the scholarship office at its new location
- Applicants are advised to keep copies of all submitted documents for reference.

Submission of application requirements will be from January 2026 until March 31, 2026 only.
Time of submission: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Late and incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Venue for Personal Submission
Applications submitted personally shall be received at: Agricenter (located at the back of the Provincial Engineering Office), Capitol Compound, Amas, Kidapawan City.

Is this scholarship open to graduating high school students?
Yes, “Incoming First Year College students” are eligible to apply, provided they intend to enroll in a Higher Education Institution within the Province of Cotabato for AY 2026-2027.
Can I submit my application through both online and manual methods?
It is best to choose one method to avoid confusion or duplication in the database. If you submit online, there is no need to submit a physical copy, unless otherwise specified by the scholarship office.
What happens if I submit my documents after March 31, 2026?
Applications submitted after the cut-off date will unfortunately not be processed. We highly encourage you to submit your requirements at least a few days early to account for any technical issues or unforeseen delays.
How will I know if my application has been received?
If you submitted online, check for a confirmation message or email upon hitting “Submit” on the Google Form. For personal or SK submissions, always ask for a received stamp or a simple acknowledgement receipt from the person receiving your documents.
Are there any other documents needed aside from those listed?
The list provided is the current requirement set. However, keep an eye on the official Provincial Government of Cotabato social media pages in case there are additional supplementary forms or interview schedules released later.

I’am a first year college student, taking the course of Bachelor of Science in Criminology but suddenly I did not finish my first semister because of financial problem, and that time my parents are separated. After I stopped my college, I found out that I have illness in my thyroid and now I’m still taking my medicine.
