Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) has officially announced the renewal of its 100 scholarship slots for the College of Medicine for the Academic Year 2026–2027.

In a press release issued on February 10, 2026, OLFU emphasized that this initiative directly supports the Universal Health Care (UHC) Act (RA 11223). With the Philippines currently having fewer than 8 physicians per 10,000 people, below the WHO recommendation, this program is a critical step in strengthening the country’s health workforce.

The Leonora Juzgaya Scholarship Grant: What’s Included?

This is a highly competitive “full-ride” grant designed for academically brilliant but financially challenged Filipino students.

• 100% Tuition & Miscellaneous Fees: Full coverage for the medical program.
• Monthly Food Stipend: ₱7,000.
• Living Allowance: Free stay in the University Dormitory or a ₱5,000 monthly allowance.
• Educational Support: Free medical textbooks provided by the university.

Eligibility & Requirements

• A minimum percentile rank of 40 is strictly required.
• While not a strict requirement, there is a high preference for students with Latin Honors candidacy or an exceptional General Weighted Average (GWA).
• You must fill out the official OLFU Application Form and pay the ₱1,000 non-refundable application fee before taking the scholarship exam.
