BARMM Scholarship 2026–2027: Online Application, Requirements and How to apply
The BARMM Scholarship 2026 is officially open! The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) announced on January 19, 2026, that applications for the Bangsamoro Assistance for Science Education (BASE) and BASE-Merit programs are now being accepted.
If you are a “Batang Bangsamoro” graduating from Senior High School and planning to pursue a STEM degree, this scholarship offers up to ₱20,000 monthly in financial assistance.

Eligibility
To qualify for the 2026 intake, you must meet these core requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a natural-born Filipino citizen.
- Residency: Must be a resident of BARMM (at least 6 months).
- Academic Standing: * STEM Strand: Minimum GWA of 85%.
- Non-STEM Strand: Minimum GWA of 90% (Top 5% of the class).
- Course Choice: Must enroll in one of the MOST Priority S&T Courses (see list below).
Important Exclusion: Per the 2026 guidelines, students from Sulu Province are currently ineligible for this specific regional program due to recent administrative rulings.

The application process for 2026 is 100% online. Walk-in submissions will not be accepted.
- Download the Form: Get the official BASE/BASE-Merit 2026 form from the official MOST link.
- Prepare Documents: Scan your Grade 12 Report Card, Residency Certificate, and Good Moral Certificate into PDF format.
- Submit Online: Upload your files via the Official Application Portal.
- Examination: Keep your lines open for your Qualifying Exam schedule, tentatively set for April 14, 2026.

Who is eligible for BARMM scholarship?
Natural-born Filipino citizens residing in BARMM who are incoming first-year college students are eligible. You must be a STEM student with an 85% GWA or a top-performing Non-STEM student with a 90% GWA. Note that students from Sulu Province are currently not eligible.
When is the BARMM scholarship deadline?
The deadline for all online submissions is March 31, 2026, at 5:00 PM. It is highly recommended to submit at least a week early to avoid system delays.
What are the BARMM scholarship requirements?
You must prepare the following:
1. Accomplished BASE/BASE-Merit Application Form.
2. Grade 12 Report Card (Form 138).
3. Certificate of Residency and Good Moral Character.
4.Certificate of Good Health (Medical Certificate).
5. Certification from the Registrar that you have no other scholarships.
